Due to our central location in the North Aberdeenshire area, we are well placed to offer easy access to a huge choice of things to do, both locally and further afield. Here’s just a taster of what you could be up to during your stay:

Aden Country Park

Aden offers a warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and a wide range of opportunities for relaxation and recreation for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy. Aden, often referred to as ‘the jewel in the Buchan crown’ has been recognized as one of the country’s best green spaces with a prestigious Green Flag Award.
The park offers an extensive play area for all ages, with swings, adventure play, seesaw and the ever popular zip slide! Even your four-legged friends are catered for with a dedicated dog exercise and agility area.
Also within the park is the heritage center with a farming museum, a reconstructed 1950’s farm and a café to grab a bite to eat and a delicious cup of coffee.
Throughout the park are a number of walks and trails, access to the Buchan Way (disused railway line) and an arboretum and lake.

The Country Park Inn

The Country Park Inn is a short 5 minute walk from our site.  The building has recently been refurbished with a fresh new look and improved furnishings. The bar and outside space is dog-friendly.
